5 Key Blueprints To Small Business Blogging Success!
By · Comments
More and more I get asked “How Can I Use a Blog or Incorporate a blog to my business?” First I would say that now a day’s blogging for business is not just a must but it’s a necessity for small businesses.
Cold calling and static websites are NOT going to work anymore, period. The way you need to market your business offline/online has changed and evolved to the level that you need to connect to your market effectively to stay competitive and to survive in this era and this is what blogging for business is all about.
A blog gives a small business owner the ability to show up much higher in the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN rankings than any kind of static website can. Yeah! Static websites are like a business card on the web.
People don’t pay attention anymore to this kind of marketing; they don’t care about your business or how long you’ve been in the business anyways till you’ve proven yourself. All they care about is, “What’s In It for me?” so your static website is no longer going to work.
So the best way to market your business on the web is through blogging. This not only gives you a way to connect with your market but you’ll also establish a solid relationship with them because of the interactive nature of blogging,
You post on how you feel about your business and people or your readership (which is your market) will respond back. This is the name of the game in today’s world in running a business offline/online.
You have to remember buyers today are smarter because of all the information they get on the web but the decision making on why & how human beings buy is the same, it’s based on our emotions.
We buy from people that we know and people that we trust, period. This is where you’re going to implement your blog and use it as a vehicle to communicate and build a relationship with your market by providing valuable information that they need and information that they can benefit from.
If you do this people will follow you and you will have a community that will buy your products and services. People like to be lead just like a tribe they follow the leader or the chief from generation to generation because they feel someone really cares for them.
So below I’ve laid out the exact method I use here with my own blog and you guys can use it as well and all this is based on my own experience of trial and error, so here it is:
5 Key Blueprints to Small Business Blogging Success!
Identify Your Market: First you need to identify your market who they are, how old, what gender, what they like, what they need or what they’re having a problem with. You’ll be the one that will identify their problems and you’ll be the one who will provide them with the solution.
Once you identify your market then the next step is to get connected with them by using your blog and posting useful and valuable information so they have a reason to come back and when they do interact with them.
Brand Your Blog: This is very, very important in any business you’re in, this is how people will get to know you or how they’ll remember you when they see your blog (first impressions count).
What I’m trying to say is give your blog a face and to do this you simply put your logo or your picture on the graphic header of your blog, also incorporate the color of your product or services that you’re going to use, you need to be consistent with your branding. Successful branding is one key to business success.
Optimize Your Post: OK! This simply means that you optimize you blog post by incorporating your specific keywords on the title and the body of your post. This is important for driving traffic to your blog.
You will NOT only attract the search engine but also the targeted market. For example if your target market is people looking to buy shoes then I will go for the keywords that the majority of people will be using like where to buy cheap shoes.
Now when you talk about this on your blog and optimize it for the search engine then people that find your blog through the search engine will be targeted meaning they’re looking for this kind of information and might be a potential buyer.
Use Your Sidebar and Navigation Effectively: Folks many bloggers miss this part; they don’t utilize the sidebar & navigation tab on top of their blog to the maximum potential.
What I mean by that is you should use the side bar to showcase your product and services and this is what the sidebar is for while your readers are reading your blog post at the same time they’ll have a chance to scan through your related products on the sidebar.
It’s the same as far as the navigation tab on the top of your blog you should have a way for your readers to contact you if they have a question. Also put an “About Me” page so your readers can get to know you more.
One more thing that is very effective based on my own experience is to have a product and service page where you list everything that you offer and your readers will simply choose what they need and buy it.
Care about Your Customers: This is the most important to them all this is the reason your customers will base their decision on why they should buy from you. It’s like going to your favorite restaurant why is it your favorite?
Is it the food or the overall experience that when you go there they treat you like a king from opening the door for you and your company, from greeting you that makes you feel that your vip and the way they take your orders and the food is really great I mean this is a no brainer right?
It’s all about the experience and this is the same with your blog make that experience remarkable for your customers and just simply take care of them and be a friend to them. This is the million dollar tip for you!
Be a friend to them this is what business is all about anyways is to build a solid relationship with your market. Guys if you do this and practice it in your business you will have people that are loyal and happy that means you will have a customer that will buy whatever product or services you offer to them.
I hope this will help you and I hope you apply this method to your small business blog or to your blogging in general. Take care and I love you guys!
Till Next Time and God Bless You!

A Blog Can Be Like A Gossip Queen!
By · Comments
Please Note: If you consider me your friend I want to ask you a favor, please participate in today’s post so it will be more interactive.
More and more now I get asked "Albert, what do you do for a living?" I guess people are getting more curious since they see me all the time here in our neighborhood, in church…
And even this particular person that told me a few years ago that this internet thing is NOT going to work, it’s nothing but a scam and I should get a real job in "Construction.”
Well I simply tell people that I am a full time blogger and I blog about the things that I love and am passionate about which is helping people with their business.
I am not surprised that many people will say, “Huh? What did you say? "Blog" is that some kind of food or what?”
Many times it really catches me off guard and I don’t know how to explain it in a way they can understand so here’s what I tell people about a blog.
A blog is like a gossip queen that spreads the words for you on whatever you’re blogging about. It’s like word of mouth on steroids! That’s exactly what it is "Word of mouth on steroids" and I’ll tell you why!
Let’s say you have a local business or a mom and pop’s shop and you have a network of clients of 5,000 and you need to reach these folks because you’re running a promotion, so what do you do?
You send out a post card, call each and every one of them, that would be tons of work right? But with blogging you can do all this in a matter of minutes or hours.
The moment you post on your blog it will ping the search engines, ping your RSS subscribers and if you have a third party autoresponder you can send the message to that list too.
So it’s just a matter of hours and you deliver the message to your market, now that’s power! That’s why I always preach that you have to have a blog if you’re running a business, it’s a necessity.
Your blog will spread the word for you, your brand will be recognized, it will create a buzz for your products and services and the best part is it will let you connect with your market to build a solid relationship and this is one key to business success.
Your blog even connects you to big name people out there and the best part is it will connect you to get acquainted with new friends that could be friends for life.
Like I got connected with Joe Sugarman, Robert Allen, and Mark Hansen and my now friends for life John Delavera, Edwin Green, Troy Williams, Duane Hope and many, many, more!
And in business or in life it’s not who you know, it’s who knows you because they’re the ones who will talk about you and spread the word for you. Remember to this day the "word of mouth" is still the best advertising and the great thing about it is it’s "FREE"
That’s why I think a blog is the biggest gossip queen and word of mouth on steroids because it does all this for you (in the good way). But I wanted to ask you my friends,
“What is a blog to you?”
Please let me know and post it… Please!
I want to know, really! So like I asked you I need your participation in this post! OK! Folks I hope I shared some good ideas with you so you can do the same… take care and love you guys!
Till Next Time and God Bless You!

Video Blogging It’s A Must!
By · CommentsFolks like what I said on the video all of my products have a video on it and the reason being is it converts pretty well also it’s great for personal branding. Really you need to alternate a video along with your regular article posts this way your readership will get to know you more.
Again like I said it’s easy all you have to do is video yourself and give your audience valuable information for your niche or whatever you’re blogging about and don’t worry about making a mistake on your video (I do it all the time)
As long as you deliver the message and it’s understandable that’s all that matters plus based on my own experience people like your videos better because it’s natural meaning your being yourself.
Like all my video they’re actually impromptu because I know what I’m going to say because I have experience in my niche and this is what I do.
Again if I find an affiliate link with this Flip Camera I will post it at the bottom, OK! Before I forget also when shooting your video make sure you have enough lightning so it’s not too dark and it will make your video clear as far as resolution.
Well I hope this will help you and please put it into action I am sure this will give you a positive result!
Oh! Yeah! just click the image below to check out the Flip Camera!
Take care folks and love you guys…

A Blog That Sells!
By · Comments
Folks as you probably know a blog is now a business ‘must-have.’ The typical sites are no longer going to work we’re in the social media era, where people or your customers want to interact with you, if you have a static website I would recommend to change it to a blog platform.
In today’s post I would like to talk about how you can use your blog to sell your products or services. Many small businesses today are using a blog as their central site for their products and services.
It acts like a store front, what I mean by that is they are using their blog to generate leads and potential buyers, generate sales and repeat sales, communicate with their customer base and build a solid relationship with their market, now this is powerful.
But there’s a process and I will tell you exactly how and all this is based on my own experience. A Blog that sells is actually based on what your blog provides or offers to your market; it also has to do with how your blog is structured and the atmosphere, I will break this down in a little bit.
Now like what I said earlier small business are using a blog as their store front right where they interact with their customers it’s like a restaurant for example or a mom and pops PC store. The big question now is how are you going to bring people or potential buyers to buy your products and services right? So here it is…
First is the "LOOK" Yes! The look and feel matters not just the design but the overall look and feel it has to grab your visitors’ ATTENTION that will make them stop and say WHOA! To do this you need to customize the header graphics of your blog and make sure your header graphics convey and deliver your message with a simple but unique design.
If possible put your business logo or your picture if you’re branding yourself, also be careful with choosing the color and make sure it’s not too busy that make your customers eyes hurt!
Making your header graphics design unique and pleasant to look at will stand out among all the other blogs out there and when they go to your blog it will catch their attention so that they will read the rest of your post.
Second is the atmosphere now this is easy you don’t want your blog to look like a giant billboard full of ads you will scare your visitors it’s like going to the restaurant the moment you come in the receptionist asks you to buy this or buy that rather than greet you first by saying "Welcome To Our Place."
So the atmosphere of your blog should be clean and not too busy, your page should be white, the text is black and just welcome your visitors first before you pitch something!
Now you need to structure it according to your business this requires testing to see which one will work for you.
Mine as you can see has three columns, content on the left then 2 sidebars on the right pretty basic, right? The reason being the content column is on the left is because the majority of human beings across the globe read from left to right this makes it easier for your readers and visitors, remember everyone likes it easy.
Don’t forget your major navigation should be obvious and visible, I put mine on top below the header graphic. OK! Folks this is very important and this will help make the sales process easy for you and your customers and this is your content.
Your content should be valuable and beneficial to your readers so your readers and visitors will come back for more. Your content can be in regular text format, video or audio. Based on my experience I always get high response and traffic when I post a video, I simply make a short but informative video and upload it to youtube.com.
When you post you should give value and information that will benefit your readers and talk about a topic that relates to your products or services and this way you can link some of your product. Also in this way you’re NOT pushing sales you’re actually helping them.
Like for example on my blog I will talk about driving laser targeted traffic to your blog and I will give them very valuable tips and I will simply link the word "Laser Targeted Traffic" to VegasTrafficJam.com and guess what my readers will click that link and that’s what leads to sales.
Remember this is exactly what I do here on my blog and for years now I still make a consistent income without paying a dime on advertising Yes! My blog does all this.
Now that you know these simple strategies you should apply them to your own blog. That’s it guys hope you picked up a few ideas that will help you with your blogging. Take care folk and love you!
Till Next Time and God Bless You!
