While I was searching I found this site paidcontent.org and I read this story how one blog (Bankaholic) was acquired by major financial institution for millions of dollars actually for $12.4 million, and the option to earn another $2.5 million over the next 12 months.

This particular blog is owned by one person named John Wu. Man! That’s great ROI (Return on Investment) for one blog don’t you think? But you know what?

I am not surprised at all I see this happen all the time that’s why I’ve been telling you folks to start blogging because it is a very powerful media. Just imagine that one voice can grab the major financial institutions attention.

Well this tells you how powerful a blog can be, you see I know that this is where the internet is heading "blogging" and blogging to me is a "new powerful media" that will change the history of how we sell!

That’s right! Before people persuade their market to sell their product with this new media or blogging people will beg to buy from you and here’s why, you see one blogger can build a million followers that will listen to him, cheer lead for him,

I was shocked to see the Response! I didn’t even expect that people were going to sign up because it’s not even done yet, second, I was expecting a majority of my readers to already have a blog.

But I got tons I mean plenty of people that signup and even called and emailed me so that’s the good news. The bad news is I got chewed out from my wife you know that thing "I told you so"

Well really it’s my fault she’s been telling me to make a video like this about wordpress but I’m just always busy doing other things but it’s been on my list and schedule.

So I had to swallow my pride and tell my wife "Baby you were right and I am wrong" but really I was surprised.

Anyways in today’s post I will talk about "How Bloggers Make Money From Blogs"  well this is NOT a secret at all we all know successful bloggers make their money by selling advertising spots on their blog,

incorporating adsense, promoting affiliate programs, paid reviews, subscription base (newsletter) and many more! Me personally I make most of my money by selling my own product and services (coaching and mentoring program).

But putting all the stuff that I’ve mentioned above doesn’t mean you’re going to make money automatically or everything is going to come to you easy and this is what most people think when they start blogging.

I have a student of mine ask me "How come I don’t make any money I have adsense everywhere on my blog?" you see everything has to go through a process and there’s no such thing as a Money Machine or Make Money while doing nothing!

To be honest with you it took me 6 months before I made my first dollar on my blog! And it didn’t happen in a magical way I faithfully post every Tuesday and Thursday, optimize my post,

I go to other blogs That are related to my blog I comment and participate, I go to forums and just did lots of test and experiments, but you know what? It pays off so really here’s what it boils down to you need to have a "laser targeted traffic", period.

I don’t care if you have the greatest and latest product in the whole wide world if you don’t have a laser targeted traffic no one’s going to know about it and no one’s going to buy, period.

The reason all these bloggers make money blogging is because they have a consistent flow of traffic to their blog that will click their ads, buy their product, and hire them and so on…

That’s how bloggers make money from blogs it makes sense right? I mean you can open the best restaurant in the world, with the best food but if you don’t have a customer you’ll be bankrupt in a few months.

So here’s what you need to do when you start blogging: first you need to post consistently, rain or shine I know it’s hard sometimes but you’re just gonna have to do it and make no excuses.

Second make sure you have all the plugins that are necessary for SEO and optimize every post then utilize the power of social media or social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Stumbleupon and so on.

Also you need to monetize your blog either incorporate adsense, sell ad space, sell your own product or services. Really that’s it but keep in mind you need a laser targeted traffic to make money from your blog period.
