Man! What a week! I finally restored my PC, thank GOD I just need to install a couple more programs and that’s it! So for those of you that don’t know yeah! my PC crashed last week that’s why I didn’t have a chance to post last Thursday (I want to apologize for that).
Also I went to the Launch Tree Seminar and I must tell you it was great! I think this is one of the few seminars that I attended that I actually learned something and it also validated what I’m doing.
The highlights of the seminar of course were blogging, social media, and video marketing. There were lots of great speakers like Perry Belcher, Frank Kern, Stephen Pierce and so on… Also I met with a few regular customers of mine.
I will put the video below they give me a quick testimonial.
Here’s what really touched my heart is there’s these two young kids that came up to me and said they’re my readers on my blog all the time and they love what I’m doing. I am so proud of this boys at the age of 21 they’re already on their way to financial freedom! Good job guys!
Also I met with a few friends like Joel Christopher, Jason Moffatt (JMO) we went to dinner together with Mike Morgan, Lee Collins and Chris “Mr. Moneyfingers.” I had fun networking with these folks they’re all very nice and I’m really glad that I was able to join them.
I remember when I used to have a day job I wasn’t able to do this; first I couldn’t afford it and second I wouldn’t be able to take off for 3 days. I’m definately sure about that. Below I have a few photo’s with some of my friends that I met in the event!
This is me and Joel Christopher “The Master List Builder” guys I am so sorry for the picture I look like the biggest idiot. Well I got caught off guard and had food in my mouth
This is Perry Belcher (The Social Media King) and I, man this guy is amazing! I learned a few things about social media, Perry also is very humble person we networked together and he asked for my business card so these are great things that will happen if you network with others that have the same like mind.
Below is me, my kids and Mike Filsaime in the hotel lobby. Mike is a very nice guy and humble too, I can tell he likes kids too! I told him that my kids are future bloggers. Mylles already knows some of the strategies on Facebook that I don’t know!
He knows how to make everyone to comment on his profile and it’s pretty cool. Mike told me that he’s proud of me for what I’ve done for my business and blog he also personally ask for my business card and you know what happens next right?
Overall networking and going to the live events are always for your advantage by meeting with like minded people. It’s also a great place to meet future clients or customers.
Another thing when you give them a business card they’ll go to your site and check it out and you might make a few sales.
Anyways I thought I’d share this with you and I hope when there’s a live event in your area make sure you go to learn and network with other folks you don’t know who you’re going to meet that might change your life forever. Take care and love you guys!
Till Next Time and God Bless You!

One thing to be learned in this issue is how to focus on the problem and how to resolve it. Not to panic and get mad or pissed off. As you may know this is how I make a living so it’s a very big deal for me to have a computer right away.
The great thing about it is I have a laptop as a backup, it’s actually my wife’s laptop she edits all the video for our church service on it. But for now I will work on this while waiting for my hard drive to get here.
Here’s the thing I think it was Saturday night I went to bed and shut my PC down and the next thing I knew it shut down by it self and when I turned it on to see what happened it wouldn’t turn on.
I tried to fix it but the hard drive is fried and then I realized that we had a thunder/ lightning storm here earlier and I forget to turn it off. Well to make the story short the damage is done and I need to fix it right away.
Over all I am proud of myself because I handled everything in a very calm manner and did not explode I said to myself Man! this is really testing me but you know what? I said I will not allow this to get to me I will resolve this and “The Show Must Go On!”
I called HP support and it’s under warranty so they will send me a replacement. I’ve lost some programs on my PC but it is just a matter of installing it and the rest it was safe in my external hard drive, thank God!
Even though I lost some of the programs I always look on the bright side it could be worse! But it’s all good and the beauty of it is I’ve learned how to deal with such problem so if ever happens to you all you have to do is relax, focus and fix the problem.
Always think that it’s not the end of the world but also be ready because I learned working from home doesn’t mean it’s Christmas everyday or it’s all rainbows and sunshine.
You need to be organized and be quick to act so you will not be stuck for awhile. So be calm, relax, focus and fix the problem when dealing with this kind of issue and don’t get mad that will not help it it will only make everything worse and out of proportion.
Just like the commercial on TV that says “Don’t Get Mad Get Glad” take care and Love you guys! Also I would like to especially thank my Wife Darcie, Duane Hope, Troy Williams, and Beau Penaranda for showing all their support and extending their helping hand Guys!
Thank you so much I always I appreciate you.
Till Next Time and God Bless You!

Now a days you need to be smart, creative and you need put your own unique twist on your work when choosing the right business model for your small business because if NOT you might get mislead and fail.
Look at the big corporations like banks and credit companies many people would think that since they’re a multibillion dollar business they would be all right when difficult times comes but the moment difficulties come they collapse and are begging for a bail out so is this a good business model or NOT?
Well if you ask me or in my own opinion it’s not. A successful business model will remain strong and stand firm regardless of any difficulties or regardless of the economic status. Obviously these big companies built their foundation on the sand and when a big storm came it wiped them clean.
The worst part is they don’t have any strategies or anything that’s why they’re asking for a bail out! Yeah! They might have an argument that the economy is lousy but it doesn’t matter if you build the foundation of your business on solid ground it will stand tall even in tough times.
Guys I’m not saying I’m all that but while the news is so terribly negative, all these nonstop job losses, foreclosures and bailouts I am doing really great as you can see on my last 2 blog post I took my family for little vacation and business is doing great.
As a matter of fact while I’m writing this I can hear in the background that I just made a sale (I setup my MS Outlook to make a TADA! sound when there’s a sales)

But you know what I am not surprised at all because I model my business after a rock solid foundation and I will tell you a “True To Life Story” of my Dad being my mentor in business and life in general. I talk about my Dad a lot because he’s the brains of the business.
I love both of my parents my mom and dad I will die 10 times if I have to just for them no question! You see I grew up with both of my parents running a business. My mom and dad tagged team with 2 businesses back home in Subic Bay, Philippines (Where the US base used to be).
I saw my parents how they ran the business and everything was based on core values and ethics. The way they treated their customers they made them feel like they’re part of the family and not just another dollar.
They also treated their employees like family with respect and like they’re part of the team. If you build your business foundation with these values and ethics then your business will be the last one standing and will be rock solid.
Way back in June of 1991 I was very young and cute too (Oh! boy talking about blowing your own horn!) when Mt. Pinatubo erupted and it was the second largest volcanic eruption of the twentieth century that killed 800 people and 100,000 became homeless.
Which climaxed with nine hours of eruption on June 15, 1991 and that day millions of tons of sulfur dioxide was discharged into the atmosphere resulting in a decrease in temperature worldwide over the next few years.
Man! It makes me cry when I remember it was very scary I thought that we were going to die, I’ve never experienced that kind of disaster in my life. It was 9:00 AM and it turned completely pitch black,
I mean darker than night time and the ground shook upside down every 2 minutes (literally I’m serious) and the worst thing I saw was my little sister and little brother scared and I can hear all the neighbor screaming outside.
Then the power went off and there was no communication with the outside world (radio or TV!). I was so shocked and didn’t know what to do. I saw my mom praying and crying at the same time and I asked my Dad, “What are we going to do?”
There was a pause for a moment then he looked at me in the eyes and said, “Son you know I love you so much and everything is gonna be fine and he hugged me very tight then he said, “This is what we’re going to do and we need to do this very quickly” (talking about quick implementation).
He told me to grab a masking tape and to tape all the glass in the living room we had a huge entertainment center and other furniture that was full of glass so I did exactly what my Dad said.
At first I didn’t understand why I needed to tape all the glass but then I realized that the ground was shaking so hard with and earthquake every 2 minutes and if the glass breaks it will be all over the place, so I know my dad was thinking and had a plan already.
This goes along with your business in being able to make a quick decision and having a plan. Then my dad and I moved our huge dining table (solid mahogany) into the living room. I got confused again, why do we need to move it to the living room?
But I just did what he said because I trusted my Dad. While we were busy moving things around I heard in my room it’s making the noise on the roof and it sounded like it was ready to collapse because it was raining ash and sand from the volcano it’s very heavy.
It made it worse when one of my Dads employees broke the news that both of my parents businesses collapsed! These were 3 story buildings that were flat to the ground, but one thing I noticed is that my Dad was very calm. He said, “It’s fine” then he told to the guy to go home with his family.
I really admired my Dad for how he handled everything. Here’s the very scary part when he asked me to bring all the mattress’ out and put them on the top of the table that we moved to living room and told everyone to go underneath the table and he said he will go on the roof and shovel all the sand off so our house won’t collapse,
I said, “Dad I’m going with you” first he said NO! but then he realized he needed my help so we went out with flash lights and ropes then we got on the roof and my dad tied the rope on him and he tied it to me as well.
Besides the strong earthquake there was also a thunderstorm and it was raining sand NOT water. Every time the ground shook stronger and stronger and I could hear my family screaming below us and my Dad and I would hug each other very tight and my Dad keep telling me, “No matter what happens I want you to know I love you so much”…
To make the story short I am alive today and all of my family too. My dad built the business back with no problems and since the business was based on the core values and ethics he got the business up and running in no time and many of the employees helped as well (For Free).
The business continued to grow strong and later on expanded to food, beverages and even a catering business. So the moral of this story is no matter what the circumstance, situation, or storm that could crush your business you should have no problem getting it up and running again because of your core values and ethics.
So when choosing a successful business model for your business you make sure you don’t base it on how strong the business is financially but on the core values and ethics, when you do this you will be the last man standing and sitting pretty!
Just like Zappos.com for instance their business is based on core values and they’re known for excellent customer service and they’re standing tall among their competitors whether in good times or tough times it doesn’t matter and many customers are happy and love Zappos.com including my wife
I was talking to my very good friend Robert Avila whom I’ve known for three years now (Robert is Zappos.com Search Marketing Coordinator also Top Commentator here at AlbertHallado.com) over the phone and he shared with me how great things happen every day at Zappos.com whether it’s customer service, employers and employees relationship and so on…
That’s why they’re growing strong and have made their Billion Dollar sales earlier than they expected and this is as in right now while every big company out there are asking and begging for a bail out.
BTW Robert: if you have any coupons or discounts can you send them to my wife?
So there you have it folks when choosing a business model you make sure you include the core values and ethics and not just the monetary value! I hope you learn something, get an idea and hope this helps! take care and love you guys.
Till Next Time and God Bless You!

Man! I was going through my traffic stats and this particular “Keyword” caught my attention and I will explain why! But the actual keyword is this “I so need a job” at first it made me laugh but I realized that many people are in this situation.
Actually if you see the news lately it has been getting worse so I started feeling really bad and realized that this is a serious thing and I know exactly how it feels not having a job. It happened to me I got laid off and I felt nervous and freaked out I didn’t know how I was gonna pay my bills and how my family was going to eat.
Oh! I took a screenshot below of the actual keyword that this person typed and found my site on Yahoo.com. As you can see I think my site is number 3 after the Yahoo ads and my site is about my post like last year and the title is “Blogging Can Help You Find A Job!”
which is good because this particular person who is searching for a job will actually know that blogging can help him

…And below is the recorded keyword from my shortstat.

Folks I talk to all of my friends and family and tell them to start blogging so they can have something to fall back on if things are tight or in times of difficulties. Like what happened to me when I got laid off.
I know it’s really hard I remember if it wasn’t for my best friend Beau Penaranda who helped me get a job in his company that he’s working for at the time so we can have food and a little bit for Christmas (it was very close to Christmas when I got laid off).
So I really appreciate my Friend Beau he’s always there for me. After working with Beau’s company I got laid off again the business slowed down so I don’t have a choice but to blog and I never looked back since (Jan. 01 2008) and I’ve been so blessed that now I make a living with this blog AlbertHallado.com
And I’ve met a bunch of great people and some of them I’ve seen only on television and some are very influential people. I love blogging and with my blog I’m able to provide for my family here in Vegas and in the Philippines.
I remember when I used to work on my day job I made pretty good money $23.00/Hr but we still struggled and it hurts when I saw my wife crying because we have to wait till the next payday to buy shampoo it really broke my heart.
Many times I worked late at night and caught myself crying because of our situation but now everything has turned around 360 and we’re doing really great, not just with the finance but it’s less stress and heart ache.
As you may know we just took a short vacation to Laughlin and it was really fun and these are the things that we can do now. Actually I took my family again last Friday to Mt. Charleston see the video below and how I caught a lion
Anyways I just want to encourage all of you guys to start blogging. Just blog about the things that you like and what you’re passionate about and don’t get discouraged if you don’t make money at the beginning but it will come in time.
Just by you blogging you’re actually building your equity and building the value of your blog and later on you will have a massive community that will follow you and buy whatever you’re selling because they TRUST you! That’s it folks take care and love you guys!
Till Next Time and God Bless You!
