My experience with pay per click (PPC) has not really been pleasant but we all know that many people are doing great with this method. Pay Per Click advertising is simply buying ads from an advertising company like Google, Msn and Yahoo…
Companies will bid for a keyword that their market would typically use to find their product or services and hope these visitors will click their ads and go to their sales page and buy the product or whatever they’re selling.
Based on my own experience with Pay Per Click I spent big bucks but got very little results, maybe the keywords are very competitive, maybe my ads were too weak or something but my results were not good.
Also too, when using pay per click method you need to constantly run your campaign, if you stop your ads stop and your traffic will stop as well. Pay Per Click can also be really expensive many times you need to increase your bid for the good keyword and it’s very complicated too.
I heard people say, “Oh just use pay per click and you’ll get instant traffic,” but don’t forget that traffic needs to convert to sales in order for you to make money. This is why I developed “Vegas Traffic Jam” and it’s mostly dominating keywords through blogging.

Now using a wordpress blog and implementing “Vegas Traffic Jam” this is powerful stuff! Many times I post on my blog and I’m number one in Google the next day and most of the time I will hold that keyword for a long time.

So getting traffic using a wordpress blog you have a whole lot advantage also you’re not only getting laser targeted traffic but you’ll get traffic for a very long time even from your post from a year ago.
Wordpress blog also is a great tool to build a relationship with your potential customers NOT like Pay Per Click that send them directly to the sales copy without knowing about you or your product first.
By doing this you’re just ONLY hoping that someone will click thru and buy. But if you really want to have a customer for life then you need to build a relationship with your customer, because people that knows you, likes you and TRUST you are the people that will buy from you over and over again.

Many folks get frustrated when they start a site or blog because the fact is they’re not making any money. Well the primary reason why new businesses online are not making any money is because they don’t have a qualified traffic and I would like to emphasize the word qualified.
You don’t just want traffic that’s not going to make you money either. Qualified traffic means the people that are looking for the products, services or whatever it maybe that your selling. Folks, common sense tells you that if people are looking to buy shoes and you have shoes for sale guess what?
They’ll buy them from you because that’s what they’re looking for: now you can get tons of traffic maybe even a million hits in a day but you won’t have any sales simply because they are not qualified meaning they’re not looking to buy shoes and it’s as simple as that.
So this just tells you that you can have everything, a polished blog, great design, all the branding stuff, all your products are great people can use it and make their life better and everything looks awesome but you have NO SALES!! And you probably haven’t had any since you launched your business.
I know this from my years of experience and what really works online. Guys you really don’t need a lot of traffic you just need qualified traffic that will consistently buy your products or services.
Many of you know that I make a living on my blog (this blog! AlbertHallado.com) this supports my family here in Vegas and in the Philippines and the reason that I’m able to do that is for years now I have a consistent flow of qualified traffic to my blog, again you don’t need lots of traffic to make a living with your blog.

As you’ve seen on the video all the qualified traffic on there I did not pay a single dime or run a Pay Per Click campaign. All I did is keep implementing “Vegas Traffic Jam” methodology that I developed and this is the same strategies that many casino’s are using to market their business and it’s working really well.
The Las Vegas economy is way better than other cities in the US we did not ask for any bail outs and actually we’re hiring 40,000 people at the new MGM City Center this tells you that the casino and hotel strategies work!

I got an email asking me how do you make more money with your blog and what are the easy ways to make more money with your blog? I talked about this in the past “Ways To Make Money Blogging!”
Yeah! There’s different ways to make money with your blog like put some ads like adsense or banner ads paid reviews and a lot more but I wanted to talk about where the real money is and where you can make more.
First of all there’s no such thing as easy money or an easy way to make money. Whatever you do there’s a leg work involved; I want you to know that if it is easy everybody would be rich by now.
You need to remember having a business online/offline is not easy at all so I just want to throw this out there! OK! Now like what I said you can make money with all these ads on your blog.
But if you’re not satisfied with lunch money or little bucks here and there and you want to make more money then you need to create your own product then promote it on your blog.
Just create a product around your expertise: for example a very good friend of mine Jeff Williams over at AskJeffWilliams.com he’s a certified master mechanic and in the beginning he asked me the same question.
Then me and my friend Beau Penaranda told him to sell his own product and promote it on his blog (He’s blog is about fixing cars) and he did exactly what we told him. Guess what? A couple days ago he called me and he said he made his first sales!
Someone bought his Car Maintenance Video (DVD) I am so happy for him. It might not be a lot of money but this is a great start, everyone starts somewhere, also if you cannot even make a dollar then how are going to make a million?
So this is great confirmation that he’s doing something right and his blog is fairly new not even six months old.
The reason you want to sell your own product is because you have more control and you can keep all the profits also you can put your own price tag and no one will tell you how much you should make it’s all about leverage folks.
You see this is very easy guys don’t make it complicated. What Jeff did is just follow a few simple steps and put them into action and tada!! He made money!
Many people know exactly what and how to do it but they’re not making money because they simply don’t put it to work or don’t take action,

Tony Robbins once said;
If you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you’ll achieve the same results.
Actually what he’s saying is to model someone that is successful, study their concept and how they apply it to their business and do the same on yours. I think it’s a great idea and this is actually what I do most of the time.
I borrow others business concepts then I apply it to my own business to find out if it will work or not because I am a result driven person, I don’t like to just base it on a theory. This is actually what I did with “Vegas Traffic Jam”
I borrowed the Casino’s Strategies and put it to work with my blog and guess what? It worked. So now I have another concept that I want to talk about and this is how these celebrities make millions in the first place?

As you’ve seen in the video you need to have a platform first so you can have your own audience so you can build relationship with them. That way they’ll read your blog, then become subscribers, then you can sell your products and services to them.
You need to do this process in order for everything to work. But believe me when you apply this you’ll have a solid relationship with your audience and they’ll know more about you, then they’ll like you and TRUST you and this is the key to business success!

Man! Is the news gonna get any better? It seems everywhere is getting worse… But here in Vegas I just heard that the “MGM City Center” is hiring 40,000 people to fill different positions that they need.
I also heard early this year MGM Grand Hotel and casino (owns almost half of the Las Vegas Strip) is supposed to be filing chapter 13 Bankruptcy protection but they cancelled that because the local economy here in Vegas has been doing great! Even the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino are hiring 500 people to fill different positions.
This just tells you what ever marketing strategy the Casino are using it’s still working even in the tough economy. Well they’ve been using these marketing strategies for over half a century I know because I use to work for MGM Hotel and Casino and I was in room service (Server).
I know it’s going to work and continue to work because this is the same strategies that I’m applying here on my blog. I also talk about this methodology in my manual “Vegas Traffic Jam.” Does it work? You betcha! It will work for any business or any niche you’re in…

One thing to be learned in this issue is how to focus on the problem and how to resolve it. Not to panic and get mad or pissed off. As you may know this is how I make a living so it’s a very big deal for me to have a computer right away.
The great thing about it is I have a laptop as a backup, it’s actually my wife’s laptop she edits all the video for our church service on it. But for now I will work on this while waiting for my hard drive to get here.
Here’s the thing I think it was Saturday night I went to bed and shut my PC down and the next thing I knew it shut down by it self and when I turned it on to see what happened it wouldn’t turn on.
I tried to fix it but the hard drive is fried and then I realized that we had a thunder/ lightning storm here earlier and I forget to turn it off. Well to make the story short the damage is done and I need to fix it right away.
Over all I am proud of myself because I handled everything in a very calm manner and did not explode I said to myself Man! this is really testing me but you know what? I said I will not allow this to get to me I will resolve this and “The Show Must Go On!”
I called HP support and it’s under warranty so they will send me a replacement. I’ve lost some programs on my PC but it is just a matter of installing it and the rest it was safe in my external hard drive, thank God!
Even though I lost some of the programs I always look on the bright side it could be worse! But it’s all good and the beauty of it is I’ve learned how to deal with such problem so if ever happens to you all you have to do is relax, focus and fix the problem.
Always think that it’s not the end of the world but also be ready because I learned working from home doesn’t mean it’s Christmas everyday or it’s all rainbows and sunshine.
You need to be organized and be quick to act so you will not be stuck for awhile. So be calm, relax, focus and fix the problem when dealing with this kind of issue and don’t get mad that will not help it it will only make everything worse and out of proportion.
Just like the commercial on TV that says “Don’t Get Mad Get Glad” take care and Love you guys! Also I would like to especially thank my Wife Darcie, Duane Hope, Troy Williams, and Beau Penaranda for showing all their support and extending their helping hand Guys!

According to the dictionary “Supercharge” means boost, increase or raise; so do you want to supercharge your small business? Obviously YES! Right? A while back I talked about how “ONLY 44% of small businesses have a website!” and these are facts!
The majority of small businesses are still using the old school marketing which is advertising in the phone book and spending thousands of dollars for their listing. This is sad because the majority of people throw these phone books away the moment they get them.
Actually that’s what I did! Nothing against the company that makes them but I just don’t use them and I’ve seen my neighbors throw them away as well. The local news here in Las Vegas actually did a story about people who just leave their phone books outside their door and don’t do anything with them and how it was a waste of paper,
So that tells you that method isn’t gonna work these days. Today when I’m looking for something either a restaurant or a recreation spot I use Google, and often you will hear people say “Just Google It!” That’s what I do because it works every time.
So if you’re a small business owner and paying for advertising to be listed in the phone book then you are wasting your money because less and less people are reading or using them.
This is what I am going to talk about on today’s blog post “5 Ways To Supercharge Your Small Business” by implementing a web presence.
Offline you pay thousands of the dollars to be listed in the phone book because you think you’re targeting the massive crowds but this is long gone and it’s NOT going to work anymore.
On the internet it’s less expensive at the same time you’re getting global exposure 24 hours a day 7 days a week. So you want your small business to be on Google or all major search engines to get a slice of the big pie.
Now the big question is “HOW DO I DO THAT?” don’t worry I’m here to help, so here we go!
Web Presence: Well obviously to have an effective exposure over the internet you need to have a website but here’s the thing static websites are no longer effective you need to have a blog as a platform for your business so you can communicate with your market.
A blog is such a powerful communication tool that you should incorporate with your small business. By having a blog you’re not just attracting your audience but also the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. They like blogs because they’re frequently updated and it’s an interactive nature.
Target Your Audience: You need to target your audience. Even with your small offline business if you’re attracting the wrong crowd, meaning if you’re selling shoes then you should be talking about shoes or something that relates to that market.
Maybe you can talk about what are the right shoes to wear for certain occasions and give them some information or tips about shoes and at the end show case your products or link to that post to your product page. Of course this is just an example to give you an idea of what I’m talking about.
Build Your Community: Building your community around your market will definitely supercharge your small business (because they’re the ones who will buy from you later on).
To build your community you need to provide them with useful information that will benefit your audience so they will have a reason to come back and to also attract new audiences. You need to constantly to interact, communicate and build a solid relationship with them.
I will recommend using a third party autoresponder to collect their names and email so you can update or email all of them at once when you have a new blog post.
Ask What They Need: Now from time to time you should ask your audience to see what their having a problem with or if they need something specific so you’ll know what to give them or what to sell to them.
I usually do this by running a poll on my blog and by listing a few questions and all they have to do is check on the things that applies to their needs. You have to remember you’re the problem solver and you’re the one who will help them and provide a solution for what they need. This is how you will stand out among your competitors.
Sell Your Product and Services: OK! This is the exciting part but please understand that you don’t sell directly to your blog you don’t want your blog to look like a big billboard or advertising company this will scare readers’ away, big time!
The right way to do this is to have a product page that lists all your product and services. You can promote this page on your blog by linking them to your related blog posts. Let’s say if you’re giving them tips about shoes then you can link them to one of the shoes that your selling it’s not a hard sell but at the same time it’s still related and targeted.
Also please remember your blogs main purpose is to attract readers first then turn them into subscribers so you can build a relationship with them and then turn them into buyers and then repeat the process.
