I’ve been using Skype for three years now and man this thing rocks! I’m serious,
I use Skype everyday to call my customers and chat with them, it’s installed on my PC and it’s FREE! (for skype to skype)
But you can buy some credits for 10 bucks and they last you forever.
Actually I bought Skype In (see all the features here!) and they provided me with a local number for Las Vegas It’s a real 702 area code Vegas number so it’s actually an internet phone.
OK! I am telling you this because Skype has helped my business tremendously. With Skype I am able to call my clients or see if they’re online, you can also build your contacts with your clients information.
You know what I really love the most is when I’m not available there’s a voicemail or the call is simply forwarded to my cell phones so I don’t miss any calls.
One more thing is that you can also setup up a conference and video call. Folks when your business grows Skype becomes a necessity and coming from me I always give you tips based on my experience and like I said I am happy with Skype.
Overall it really helps me make money online big time and has helped me to build a relationship with my customers just by chatting with them and sometimes you don’t know who you going to come across.
One day I was talking to Jack Humphrey and the next day talking to Donna Fox, Lynn Terry and Jason Moffatt.
Oh! I talk to all my friends too a LOT! like Beau Penaranda, Edwin Green, Mike Carver and Ed Dewees most of the time we talk business yes very important like lets go to lunch yeah! Something like that.

If you’re a regular reader here or one of my subscribers you know I always talk about how you should start blogging if you want to make money online because I know what it can do for you.
My blog has helped me big Time! When I got laid off and up to this day this is my main source of income so I’ve been telling people around me that if they want to make extra money or maybe want to do it full time it’s possible, I did it and I’m just a regular guy like everyone else!
So if I can do this anyone can. YES! I even talk about it offline in my neighborhood, with friends and family, people I know and even in my church, Yesterday (Sunday 15) I got invited to be a guest on the local Christian Radio Talk Show.
Hosted by our own Minister Teresa Green I figured we can HIT more people locally and guess what? I was right! Check my stats for that day.
As you can see the response was amazing and I know many people out there needs help and many people now a days are turning to the internet to make money.
These past few months I’ve seen an increase in my sales so guys you need to position yourself and business for this internet business explosion that’s about to happen, so start blogging and making some money!

Folks you can make good money promoting Affiliate Programs especially if you don’t have a product of your own but you need to be really careful when choosing the product to promote.
Make sure it’s a quality product delivers what it promises. It’s a smart thing to see if you can get a review copy of the product so you know exactly what you’ll be promoting.
Also make sure you research the company or individual so you know that you’re going to get paid. But like what I said it can bring a very good income from time to time.
See the screenshot below this is my recent promo that I did for a friend of mine, You see got a few commission sales! Well after you check it out! read the article that I wrote 4-5 years ago and it’s still valid to this day!
Affiliate Program is a ground floor opportunity. All you have to do is send visitors to your affiliate web site by placing a textlink or banner on your website and receive a commission on each sale, without the complication and expense of selling anything yourself.
Instead, you earn a commission for producing a transaction. Affiliate programs, also known as Referral Programs, Associate Programs, Profit Sharing Programs or Reseller programs, give affiliates the ability to create an online business selling thousands products and services.
One of the first affiliate programs was run by the mega-bookstore, Amazon.com. They still have the largest base of affiliates on the net although they may not be the best affiliate program for many! with over 600,000 web sites being affiliated.
Affiliate programs are generally offered by sites selling goods or services, although some affiliate programs reward other types of transaction such as getting a visitor to sign up for a free newsletter, or a download.
Some affiliate programs pay per lead rather than per sale, in other words, you bring them a prospective customer and they pay a fixed "finder’s fee" for the chance to market to that customer.
This is a typical arrangement for affiliate programs in the insurance, real estate and credit card industries, for example:
Types of Affiliate Programs
Pay per sale: If you refer a visitor to the online merchant’s site and if visitor makes a purchase you get a percentage of the sale as commission.
Pay per lead: You get paid a one-time fee for generating a lead for the merchant. Usually you get paid $2-$5 if the visitor you referred fills out an application.
Pay per click: You get paid for every visitor you send to the online merchant regardless of any sale or purchase. Usually companies pay $0.05 – $0.15 per click.
Two-Tier: You get commission on direct sales you generate and also you get commission on sales generated by affiliates you recruited. Usually companies pay 25% commission for direct sales and 5% for sales generated by your affiliates.
Bounty: You get a one-time finder’s fee payment for the visitor you referred. You will not get commission on any future purchases that customer makes.
The Benefit of an Affiliate Program
Is that you just need to drive traffic to your affiliate site. Write a few articles and provide a few links.
You don’t need to find or deal with brokers, wholesalers, inventory, process orders, shipping & handling, customer service, tech support, handle returns, warranties, employees, etc-
An affiliate doesn’t even have to be present, your site will keep earning money while you’re sick, on vacation, or just doing something else. Another advantage of being an affiliate, is that you do it from almost anywhere in the world..
How The System Works?
When you join an affiliate program, you will be given a specially formatted URL (Links) that you should use to link to the affiliate provider’s site. This will enable the affiliate provider to monitor traffic to your site and pay according to the type of affiliate program.
Many affiliate programs pay a commission based on a percentage of the revenue generated by purchases made by visitors coming from your website.
For example; if you’re participating in an affiliate program that offers a 25% commission and you send a visitor who purchases US$100 worth of products, you’ve just earned US$25 in commissions.
The commission rate itself can vary from 20% up- to 50%+ in the case of intangible products such as eBooks or website subscriptions.
Affiliate programs vary widely in terms of overall quality, reliability, commission , statistics, the amount of help that the merchant site offers in marketing the products or services it sells, and so on.
By thoroughly understanding an affiliate program, you’ll minimize the risk of not getting paid – and maximize your potential earnings.

Folks if you’ve noticed for awhile now every time I post I always encourage you to start blogging and I always think of ways that I can help you and the reason being is I know blogging is a very powerful tool to making money online.
Just only a year of blogging and I am already making a living with my blog, and the reason I always talk about or tell you to start blogging is because many people now a days are in pain not necessarily physically but emotionally I mean look at the economy.
Every single day I think it’s getting worse the stock market is down again, people are losing their house, the next door neighbor got laid off 6 times over the last 4 months can you believe that?
It’s the same news everyday this is the reason I am avoiding watching television lately is because of all this negativity and I don’t want to feed my brain with all this junk instead I think of ideas on how I can be more productive.
A year ago I was in the same situation I mean I got lay off and I was a Network Administrator (IT) I ran the IT department for a big plumbing contractor company here in Vegas and the housing market collapsed and the company was forced to cut back overhead and I was part of that.
Yes I am probably the very first batch of victims in this economy crisis. So I can really relate to many of the people that are in this situation. Yes! I was scared when that happened and I didn’t know what to do and I have family to support here in Vegas and in the Philippines also I had tons of bills.
I looked for help here in Vegas but everyone seemed to be in the same situation even the government, family and friends are struggling too. I looked for a job but a majority of companies here in Vegas have a freeze on their hiring and many of them are closing their doors for good.
So I knew I needed to do something different and that’s where I turned to blogging and the "Vegas Blogger" was born and when I started blogging Man! Great thing just happened and a year later here I am recession proof.
That’s why I am encouraging you to start blogging because based on my own experience it is the quickest way to make money online. Well I am not talking about overnight or "get rich quick" thing of course there’s leg work involved.
When I said it’s the quickest way to make money what I mean is that most businesses will not see profit for the first couple of years. Like if you open up a Mom & Pop store it’s a huge investment and you will not see profit for years.
Blogging is a very minimum investment and just by your first year you can be making money already or better yet quit your 9-5 job. Folks I am telling you this because it happened to me and it can happen to you too and I am a living testimony that a blog can save your butt too!
So if you start blogging now can you imagine a year from now? You could make a living by then too. Anything is possible you know! Plus folks there’s NO hocus pocus on blogging, you don’t even need to be a GURU to do this.
Just by a year of blogging, my blog now receives on average 200 unique visitors 800 returning visitors (hits) and 100 RSS subscribers daily, Yes! this is daily and with ZERO advertising.
You see how powerful a blog can be? And this is how I make my money with my "Laser Target Traffic!" they come to my blog to buy my products or click my ads, either way I make money. So what are you waiting for? Don’t just sit there start blogging!

I get questions all the time about Niche Blogging or a Niche Blog and how to you make money with it so this is what I am going to talk about on today’s post. First let me kind of dissect this topic a little bit! What is niche blog anyways?
A niche blog is simply focused on a specific subject of a general and usually popular topic. Let’s say video games, they’re HOT right now and everyone is crazy about video games, this creates huge competition.
So in order for you to eliminate the competition and leverage this business you need to find a niche around video games like Wii by Nintendo for example and you simply focus on promoting or blogging just about this.
Ok! But the big question that everyone wants to know is "How Do I Make Money With a Niche Blog?" GREAT question! For some of you that are regular readers here or a subscriber of mine you know I always talk about my wife’s website and how she makes money with it.
She makes her money through adsense and this is the best way to make money with a niche blog based on my own experience. I’ve tried different ways like incorporating affiliate programs but over all adsense and chitika (text link).
They’re similar in some ways you simply put a tiny code on your site and relevant ads will show on your blog and if your niche is popular and in high demand and you have relevant content and incorporate Google adsense or chitika text links people will click these ads and that’s how you make money.
It’s not an overnight thing you need to do some work and research. If you really want to make money with a niche blog you need to research what people are looking for so when you talk about this on your blog the adsense will show the ads relevant to your topic.
Visitors arriving at your blog are looking for specific information and Adsense tends to solve that problem. How do you find what people are looking for and what is the hot seller right now so you can start your niche blog with what people are wanting or looking for?
Since I love you guys and I always share my secrets with my readers and subscribers this how I go about before creating a niche blog
First I need to know what people are buying and once I found out what it is I choose a niche that has less competition then I will blog about it and put adsense along with the relevant content.
So here’s how I do my research on finding what people are buying and looking for, First I go to these website below:
Yeah! I used eBay to find out what’s HOT and what are people are looking for. On the eBay home page it shows you the top ten MOST popular searches that poeple are looking for and that would give you an idea on what your niche blog should be about.
Second I go to amazon.com and I check the Amazon Bestsellers links for all Departments and it will show you everything on what people are buying and looking for and again this should give you an idea on what to blog about.
I also go to Shopping.com and find out "What’s Hot on Shopping.com" this is usually on their home page all this will help you to find out of what people are buying and searching for.
Another one I go to is Download.com and I look for what is the most popular downloads if I want to niche blog on software’s, games, anti-virus software and so on.
All these site are a goldmine of information that will show you what people are buying and looking for and this will help you decide on what you should be blogging about. I also use Google Keyword Tool and I will type a keyword that people would usually use when looking for something and I use this keyword on my blog post.

Before I go over today’s post first I would like to thank everyone who sent me an email and commented on my blog for my birthday I really appreciate you guys big time! I was surprised with the response.
I got tons of emails, comments, and greetings. Oh! Tons of business as well I’ve never been this busy ever in my online business. Man! I am very thankful for all the blessings I mean I am blessed with such a great family my parents, Bro. & Sis. and kids back home in the Philippines and my family here in Vegas!
And all of my friends I am thankful for all this! GOD is great! Oh! Also I got tons of positive feedback about my post last week about the story of our "Night Club" man it was like a blockbuster.
I got tons of emails complementing me about my writing and the story. Even the big guys on the internet commented on my blog, Joe Sugarman told me he liked the "Night Club" story. Well it just feels great that what I’m doing is actually working.
Alright now back to business, my blog post today is "Why you should start blogging" ok! I will focus more on making money online or on making money by blogging topic since this is the theme of my topic.
First of all blogging or incorporating a blog to your business offers you lots of benefits and all the advantages are in your favor.
A blog allows you to build your credibility as an expert in your field which is very important to initiate a relationship with your subscribers and readership.
A blog also allows you to build the foundation of your online business for long term success. Blogs can help your subscribers get to know you better, and your product and services.
Since a blog is of a conversational nature you’ll encourage your subscribers, readers and audience to participate and this will draw and attract more people. This will help you build a community around your business and the niche that you’re in.
Also a blog allows you to build your brand and give life to your business versus a typical static website that looks like a business card. With a blog your business can actually have a voice and ears that will update and listen to your subscribers.
This will help boost subscribers or buyers loyalty and gain their TRUST, so you’ll have subscribers or buyers for life. You can start blogging with out a huge investment just your hosting and domain registration and the script or software itself is actually free.
One reason I really like blogging is because it’s very organized and easy to navigate the control panel also there are plenty of plugins that will help your blog for search engine optimization. Once your blog is setup all you have to do is start posting.
All the above that I mentioned is essential to making money online and will also help your business for long term and not just a one shot deal. I know all this because I am living proof of all this. With the economy right now this is the best thing you can do is to Start Blogging.

You see I am not blowing smoke this is true folks many, many people are now looking for ways to supplement their income and the easy way to make money online is blogging and this is not rocket science you know!
Actually my two Kids Gillian and Mylles will start blogging too so watch out for it I will update you guys about it. OK! Please don’t get me wrong when I said it’s an easy way to make money online of course there’s leg work and this is not a "Get Rich Quick" thing.

Yeah! I went to JV Alert Live! Here in Vegas and it was great I picked up a couple of golden nuggets. I let them do the talking and I did the listening.
I will tell you a TRUE STORY about how I became a good listener so before you scroll down and see all the pictures below I suggest that you read this story first.
Ok! here we go! As many of you know that I always talk about, here on my blog, that I was born and raised in the Philippines and growing up was great! I had everything I needed and my parents were doing great financially as well.
Actually my parents ran two night clubs (in Subic Bay) back in the early 80’s till the early 90’s when the US base was still in the Philippines and these night clubs were just blocks away from each other and I like the one versus the other because of the music, back when I was a teenager.
So I hung around this night club (the name is East Coast RockThe Most) a lot just to observe the way everyone was dancing. This night club was exclusively for service men on the base.
I remember it was pretty new too and they spent so much money on the lightning for the dance floor.
There was a laser light that drew names on the wall also there were lights that were synchronized to the music so that when it was loud it created a raining effect it was pretty cool.
It was a three story building and you could see the dance floor when you looked down from the balcony. There was a pool table, jazz room, arcade (My Fave at the time) and a snack bar.
Anyways one Saturday night I went with my Dad to the club, he managed everything there himself and when we got there man I loved the music (I think one of LL Cool J songs was playing), the beat and the crowd were really getting down!!
So my Dad and I went straight to the office and he ordered me some French Fries (again my fave at that time, I limit fast food now a days) my Dad went out to do his rounds you know check everyone the bar crew, receptionist, and checking the night Sales and so on.
I was still in the office eating my french fries and watching TV too! When I finished I started to go out and walk around and most of the employees knew me and were saying hi to me.
They’re like my family because my parents treated everyone as a member of our family that’s why I felt at home and comfortable going there.
My favorite spot was the third floor where I could see the dance floor below and watch everyone dancing and I’m not gonna lie I picked up some new moves Ha! Ha!
As I was watching everyone just having a good time and having fun, the music was really great and all of a sudden the DJ started playing a very slow, horrid song and everyone just left the dance floor and I said “WHAT?” “Why did they do that?”
Everyone was having a great time then they threw in this horrible song and no one wanted to dance anymore. So I was in a hurry to find my Dad and I wanted to let him know what this DJ was doing.
I finally met up with him and I said, “Dad I need to talk to you real quick” so he took me to the office and said, “What is it son?” and I told him, “You need to talk to the DJ to keep playing good music because your losing business. (thought I was smart)
I saw everyone just walking off the dance floor because he put a terrible song on!” My Dad started laughing and I said, “What’s so funny?” he said, “Son come here I will show you why!”
So we went out of the office and we were both looking down from the third floor and he said “Look we need to play at least three horrible songs a night” and I said, “But why Dad?”
His reply was, “You see if they keep dancing all night we’re not going to make any money because they’re not going to buy any drinks or food so we need to break up the momentum.
Since they’ve been dancing they’ll be thirsty and a little snack will help too so they’ll go straight to the bar and get themselves something to drink and get some food from the snack bar.”
As we headed down to the snack bar he sure was right because there was a line of people waiting to buy some snacks and everyone was just talking, eating and drinking and my Dad said, “You see, now you know why!” and I was blown away.
I mean my Dad’s a pretty smart guy and to this day I still remember that and the moral of the story is if you just shut up and listen you’ll get a couple of golden nuggets.
That’s why when I went to JV Alert Live people came up to me and I let them talk and share their ideas with me and at the end I picked up a few great ideas.
Anyways, here are the pictures taken from JV Alert Live! That’s Willie Crawford and I.
I talked to him and hung around with him the whole time. We went to lunch together everyday for the past 3 days and had dinner the last day with his wife and my family (my Wife and kids).
I’ve known Willie Crawford for five years now, he helped me out when I was just starting out with NetBizReview.com we did an interview together 4 yrs ago.
He also helped me Promote VTJ "Vegas Traffic Jam!" Oh! and he said he’ll do another promo for VTJ for me.
Here’s my friend Simon Leung I worked on a couple of projects with him in the past including the header graphics for his blog. Right now he’s really busy and he just got married and is still traveling all over Asia.
Here’s Odinn Sorensen another very good friend of mine and we went to lunch all the time too! (together with Willie) He’s a regular here in Vegas also he was supposed to stay in my house but it’s crazy right now because we’re in the process of moving to North Carolina so there’s no room. Sorry Odinn, when we get to NC you’re welcome any time!
Another very good friend of mine Dr. Ron Capps, The Niche Professor, he’s a very nice guy he kept calling me over to meet people that needs graphic service done and also Ron is a fellow Warrior. He’s a very nice, sweet guy!
Below Is Ken Mc Arthur this the first time I met him and he is a very terrific guy and he made sure everyone was being helped at JV Alert Live! Ken and I talked about a couple of my products and we’ll be doing a project together soon.

I was a little embarrassed when it was his turn to speak because as soon as he opened his mouth he mentioned my name and used me as an example because I bought all his books (in the past) and he was saying that it was good to read up on anything that pertains to your business and so on…
after he finished speaking I talked to him some more and he lives here in Vegas too!

OK! this is getting out of hand. I mean the economy, people are suffering big time I don’t want to turn the TV on anymore because there’s nothing new except for more Bad News. But I was thinking about it and you need to face the facts and see what you can do about it.
I saw today the DOW (Stock Market) dropped by thousands of points it’s the worst it’s been in history causing 2 something Trillion dollars. I don’t know much about the stock market but that’s a lot of money! No wonder average people are suffering.
Almost everyone I know here in Vegas are penny pinching and are really trying hard not to spend their hard earned money, I mean you can’t blame them because what they see on the news.
I didn’t watch the news for a couple of days because it really broke my heart when I heard one man in California killed his entire family and himself because of his financial crisis. Really poverty is not a good thing and with the economy situation right now it seem this is where it’s going.
The unemployment here in the US is at an all time high. Millions of People are losing their homes (Foreclosures), major players in financial institutions are getting bankrupt, food cost is going up, and gas is way up.
People can’t take any more punches and this is what’s it feels like you know! Like fighting with Mike Tyson on the ring with both of your arms tied up and there’s no way for you to win, so people are screaming "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ALREADY!"
So what can you do as an individual to turn this around? Well if you look at the positive side of the situation, for me this is the year of INNOVATION. Yes, because people are forced to think and come up with the solution and this where great ideas will be born.
My great idea is BLOGGING, yes blogging is in high demand like you’ve never seen before and here’s why! Well my sales last month is great and just the other day I made $400.00, the next day $750.00, then $500.00 while stock market is losing money I am making money with my blog.
You see I did some research on this and I am a living testimony and have experienced all this economy mess earlier than everybody so I am kind of immune to this already.
When the housing market collapsed here in Vegas! I got laid off and all I had then was my blog so all these things I am telling you is based on my experience so you can use it to your advantage.
News is VERY HOT right now because people want to know the updates on the economy and boy! All these news anchors like CNN Anderson Copper (AC360), Glen Beck, and Fox News Bill Oreilly are turning into marketers.
Every time before their commercials they’re always promoting their blog on their show and guess what I went to Anderson Copper’s blog and found out he has couple of Ads (Sponsors) there.
Well for big companies though like Toyota and Proactive also his blog is powered by Wordpress (Surprise, Surprise!)
It’s the same for Glen Beck he has a few sponsors and he has his own products like the book he has written, But Bill Orielly took it a little further he has sponsors, his own product line and a premium membership (Monthly and Yearly).
Man! This is getting exciting stay with me here I’m going somewhere here ok? So how can you do the same as an individual?
You see as I said earlier people are looking for help and the government can’t help them and most companies are in a Hiring Freeze so their last resort is the internet and this is what people are looking for right now!
As far as the keywords that they’re using searching on the internet it’s all about: Blog, Blogs, How To Make Money, Make Money, Making Money, Ways To Make Money… It is too obvious that people are looking for ways to make money on the internet.
Well it makes sense right? If nobody can help them they’ll look for information on the internet.
That’s why blogging is so high in demand right now even all these news anchor and even celebrities are using them to make money online is because there’s more people than ever on the internet and they are looking for ways to make extra cash because of the economy crisis and it make complete sense right?
Having a BLOG is the easy way to make extra cash or even more. If you’re one of my subscribers or a regular reader here on my blog you know that I make a living with my blog and I make money with a little bit with of Ads (Private and Adsense).
Also from time to time I promote Affiliate Programs that I know can help my members, but I make the most on selling my own products that I created my self and most of them are informational and digital so there’s no packaging or shipping required.
People can buy my products either VIA instant access or downloads. Just last month I launched my new eBook VTJ "Vegas Traffic Jam!" on how to get "Laser Targeted Traffic" to your blog.
Again if you’re a regular reader or member of mine you’re my witness to my success from the moment I came up with this product to the moment I launched it.
I used my blog to promote it, I used my blog to recruit JV’s and affiliates, I used my blog to communicate with my readership and members, I used my blog to connect and establish my reputation and build TRUST with my audience.
A blog is not my Business rather it’s a VERY Powerful business tool that you can use out there and it’s easy, just be your self and people like this better. With Blogging you can build a community around your niche that later on down the road will buy your products.
So start blogging if you want to make money online and you don’t need to be in the making money niche either you can start blogging around your expertise or the things your passionate about.
Like if you like Hockey start blogging about that and build your little community around that and then sell them a related product like a Special Report or an eBook that you wrote on "How To Play Hockey 101" something like that!
Of course this is just an idea but I am pretty sure you get it right? So folks I hope this can be a help to you and if you’re looking for ways to make money online consider blogging.
You can do this Part-Time and you don’t need a lot of money to start just get a domain and hosting and you can get this for less that $100.00 I am sure if you post consistently and faithfully you can achieve your goal.
