Many people have asked me either online or offline, “What is my secret with my blogging?” and I always reply nothing and that’s the truth really.
I simply tell them if they really want to know what I’m doing then just go to my blog and everything they need to know about me, my family, my drama in life and my business they’ll find out here at AlbertHallado.com.
You see after two years of consistency in blogging it’s really hard to ignore me 
and many people really want to know exactly what I’m doing and why am I still making living on my blog even in these tough times…
OK today I will reveal my secret well actually it’s NOT even a secret I just never talk about it but I will tell you today and I will tell how I do it.
If you’re a regular here I always share everything I know to everyone (hint ) this is why, up to this day, I am still making a living on my blog is because I’m always in the giving first mode so that is my first secret is to always give first.
Second is I’ve created my personal brand and I think this is the most important aspect of any business or product is to have its own brand. Because this is how people will know you, perceive you and TRUST you.
Just like when you mention an MP3 player the first thing in your mind is Ipod, soft drink- you either think Pepsi or Coke, cars- Ford or Chevy and so on… These big companies spend millions of dollars to build their brand because they understand the power of branding.
This applies to all entrepreneurs that want to create their personal brand. Again personal branding is how people will know you, perceive you and TRUST you so they’ll do business with you and buy whatever you’re selling.
Branding is not just for big companies or corporations it’s for everyone who conducts business and who wants to be successful. Just like Donald Trump and all these celebrities they brand them selves that’s why people know them and people follow them and do business with them.
Creating your personal brand is actually NOT that complicated and I will tell you exactly how I do it. First thing you need to do is be who you are and just put yourself out there and don’t pretend to be someone you’re not because in today’s world you can’t hide anymore.
Transparency and authenticity are the only means to survive and thrive in this new marketing arena. So if you’re really an expert at something well show it to the whole world and do it with authority.
Now to show the whole world who you are is to have a blog with your name on it like AlbertHallado.com also put your picture on the header so your visitors will have confidence while navigating your blog and they know there’s a human being behind the site/blog.
Another thing you can do is to do a video blog. Now this is powerful stuff because they can see you talking, they can see your gesture, your smile, mannerisms all these things that represent your character.
They will soon know you very well even though your visitors actually never met you in person. You can also do an interview then publish it on your blog in audio format or do a podcast so they can listen to your voice.
You need to be consistent with your personal branding so when you create your profile with your social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and Youtube make sure you apply your personal branding with this too.
Guys I can’t emphasize enough how powerful branding is to your business and you need to create your own personal branding.
When your personal brand is already established it will be easy to sell your product and services all you have to do is put your name on it and that product or services will have instant credibility because people know you and trust you already.

you come up with a great post again. Thanks for the info. Yeah,most newcomers are missing the part of branding in their business. Not only newcomers but even senior marketers also missing this point in their business.
But,even if they want to brand themselves,they might be scrathing their head now on how to brand themselves. A few ways of branding like using an unique name and if can a logo for their business just like our friend Ian Del Carmen the Fireball Planet Owner and John Delavara (JD) where he brings the word ‘TURBO’ into the Internet Community.
Always remember this quick formula:your name=your unique brand.
We can list down more names here. There are still so many ways to brand oneself. Hope the above mentioned will be a little help from me to all of you.

Personal branding goes a LONG way with trust in people on the internet now days. This is what you need to make sales. It is not about placing beautiful websites by the dozen up on the internet and kicking back and watching the sales flow in. What might have worked back in the late ’90’s, no longer is the case now.
You have to begin to develop trust, to begin to develop a relationship with your core customers/clients or email list.
In one of the most informative posts that Albert has made,
he has actually given everyone that reads the “secrets” to
his business… it is really developing relationships with
your brand which eventually develops trust which lead to
sales.
In a world full of scams and more specifically internet scams,
people are very skeptical to do any sort of business on the
internet more so now than in the earlier years. This is why
when Albert says… “First thing you need to do is be who you are and just put yourself out there and don’t pretend to be someone you’re not because in today’s world you can’t hide anymore.”
This pretty much sums everything up !!!
To show you an example of this… several days ago, I removed
my sitepal character from my website completely and replaced it
with a camtasia production of my voice showing visitors around
a bit…and the results…
It has increased my opt-in rate at least 400% or more and this is
no exaggeration… I can promise you !!!!!
(The sitepal character is sortware where you can program a character
to speak and say what you want them to say.)
This is the best post that Albert has made since I have been
following his blog. It doesn’t get any more up front than the
man himself holding up the card that pays the bills…LOL

Great post Albert! Personal branding is so very important. It lets people know who we are. We can easily shape that now with Facebook, Youtube, our website, etc….
