I Quit Working From Home And That’s Final!

Working From Home

YES! I quit!! I’ve had enough with this internet marketing thing and I give up and want to throw in the towel.

Well this is what I had in mind a couple days ago. You know working from home is not that easy especially when everything isn’t going your way.

I mean there’s one problem after another. Since I run my own business it means I have to hunt for my own food now, no more 9-5 then you get a paycheck every week. So I need to make this thing work or else my family and I will suffer.

This is the reality folks; sometimes you’re going to have these kinds of days while working from home and let’s face the fact that it’s not Christmas everyday.

Believe it or not I came very close to quitting and I know I needed to turn this mindset around because this is so negative and not the right thing to do.

Also I realize that I am a human being and sometimes you’ll feel down and frustrated by the way you look at things.

I want to share with you how I overcame these difficulties in my internet business journey so you can learn from it too.

Like what I said I came very close to quitting. I said to my self this is it! I’m done, I’ll just do something else or just go back to work (day job) as a network administrator or just do whatever is NOT internet business.

It’s not that I’m failing; actually I think I am a successful internet business owner. I work at home and I create product after product and most of them are best selling.

Many people only dream of this and some don’t even think that’s it’s possible.

What frustrates me is just this past week I had so much negativity around me, business and personal and it seems to have taken me over. So here’s what I did to turn this around and back to where I am suppose to be.

I prayed and recognized that I had a problem and I turned off my computer, just to get away for the moment and not think about anything.

Then I asked my wife and kids to go swimming in the pool and just have fun and don’t think about anything. I talked to my wife and told her all about it.

Man! I love my wife so much she supports me all the way; I also talked to a very close friend of mine he actually feels like a big brother to me, Edwin Green.

You see networking is really important and powerful, you need to network with like-minded people so when things are tough you can talk to them and most of the time you’ll be pumped up after your conversation.

After a couple of days before I powered up my computer again I pulled out my wallet and looked at our family pictures (we don’t have pictures on our wall yet because we just moved to a new house last month and most of our stuff still in the box)

While looking at my family pictures I realized I did all this internet business thing because of my family and I want to give them the best. I also looked back at all I’ve been through to get where I am right now!

I mean all this internet business thing is 6 years or more in the making and like what I said I am successful! And the fact too that I have a very powerful network of friends and business associates that I built relationships with over the years.

Plus I have thousands of subscribers and readers that are relying on me and I definitely don’t want to let them down.

So I made my decision and read my lips "HEEEEEEEEEEEECK NO!" I am not going to quit I came very long way to stop now and as far as I’m concern I’m almost to the peak already, I can see it and smell it!.

You see regard less you either work form home or you have a day job (9-5) your going to have those days that you feel so down and to over come this you need to stay focus and stay motivated that’s it simple as that.

You need to stay focus and forget all these negativity in your mind just focus on the things that you know will make you successful.

Stay motivated very important just think all the good things that’s about to happen or had happend in your personal or business maybe that $ 2,000 dollars sales in one day, that $11,000 in month sales.

What ever it is to keep your self motivated maybe your kids or your family. The way I look at business if you quit you lose and I am not a loser, definitely I will not walk around with a loser written on my forehead I don’t think so…

I know I am just 3 feet away from gold and I want you to know that I am not quitting and will not let you down my dear readers, students and subscribers!

That’s it and feel free to comment! (Don’t be Shy!)

Please do me a huge favor if you know anyone that can benefit from this information please forward this post by using the SHARE THIS below, I’ll promise you they’ll thank you for it!

Till Next Time and God Bless You!

Hi Albert, good on you for beating the negativity, week before last I was in the same position, computer problems, cyber theft problems and pear negativity were all getting on top of me.

I went to my daughters said get the kids ready we are going on a holiday, Daughter and kids in the car, caravan on the back and away to the seaside for a week. No computer, no work, just unadulterated pleasure with the family.

I came back revitalized to take on the problems and work with renewed gusto.
That’s the way to do it, In the old 9 to 5 situation you can’t do that having to beg for the time off and then worrying about your job because you took some ME time.

Working in your own business from home is the greatest.

The problem with internet marketing is that it allows you to work from home, which is nice in many ways but is not conducive to getting things done. There can be too many distractions all through the day which leads to loss of focus and inaction.

It is not a steady income either as I have found out, but as long as the peaks make up for the troughs then I won’t quit. I will just have to make the peaks more bigger and more numerous.

All this rubbish about making easy money on autopilot leaves out the fact that a heck of a lot of work has to be done to get to that stage and it can be quite stressful.

Anyway, I knew you wouldn’t quit Albert after managing to get this far. Many people would be glad to be where you are at now.

Hi Albert,

Man you gave me an awful fright!! Thank Goodness you aren’t actualy giving up. I need all the bits and pieces you write and show us as I am still very much learning on this Internet Journey.

Into some new stuff on WP at the moment which is another leg up on my journey.

this wouldn’t have happened if you hadn’t given me the ability to focus and really get down to tin-ticks as they say and really put my mind to doing it all properly.

One of your friends wrote in one of your comments about their is a lot of work to be done to get to “auto-pilot” etc.
They were totally correct.
I used to think a long time ago that I could make money overnight on the Internet and eaverything would be sweet and lovely and I would never have to “work” for my money again. What a “hoax” that thought is.

so don’t you ever give up on us Albert. We need your skills to get through a lot of this learning curve.
Just take a look at the gift God has given you to help others not so talented.

bless you very much Albert.

Much love to you and your family,
Danella

It was shocking to know at the early part of the post that you were with internet home based business or against it. But the conclusion that you have given about your business and the way that it might take the curve in life is very interesting…
Should thank you for changing my

Hi Albert,

I made a post at the Warrior Forum - Internet Marketing Forum on you quitting if you want to be involved in the discussion.

Your post was to the point.

Even if you took a job full time and worked on your websites part time, that is not failure.

I call that survival.

Look at it this way, if you worked full time, you would have extra money to pay people to outsource.

So you really get the best of both worlds and when your internet marketing takes off again then go back full time.

Its your decision.

Hey Albert,

love your post!! Like your style of writing and your blog.

We have been online and offline for over four years now.
We are in the REI Real Estate Investing business. Over time we have fused IM with REI on a smaller scale serverl years ago, it gave birth to our NRSWORKS system. We are now under taking IM-REI together on a Bigger National level. It has been and still is a huge under taking.
It can be very frustrating to say the least. The bulk of my time is on the REI side of things, it is what I know. We are always on the look out for team members on the IM side, which is hard to find.
I congradulate you on your success thus far!! You will never lose if you never stop.
When I get to a negative point and we all do, I refresh with a good helping of Napolean Hill’s “Keys to Success” to get me back on track!!
I have nothing to sell in this post, just liked what you had to say.

Thanks,
Erick Jimenez
