Build A Business Website

Lately I’ve noticed some of my new clients are looking for a cheap way to build their business website and I just don’t get it. Well I know the economy is NOT so good and it seems every business owner is tight and on budget but the thing is, that a business website is not even expensive.

Really! Check this out! A domain is $10.00 at GoDaddy.com (Oh! I think it’s $11.00 now) and then you can get hosting from BlueHost.com I recommend them because of my experience with them they’re reliable and the support is great (oh! that’s my affiliate link 😀 )

After you get the domain name and hosting all you have to do is to install wordpress software which is free and you can get all this for less than a few hundred dollars.

But you should put your investment in branding, design and the right structure for your business website because you want your business website to work for your business you know! Use your website to get more customers and buyers and this should be the goal and the purpose of your business website.

When the getting is good and when the economy is doing great I heard business owners say I want my site to be like this, I want my website to be like that and what the customers “want” is not part of any conversation.

Your business website should be designed based on what your customer’s expectations are and NOT about what you want. Your customers should have a great end users experience when visiting your website to convert them into buyers.

It should be designed and structured the right way to get more customers and it will convert well. It makes really good sense if you hire someone that knows direct response graphics so he understands the psychology factor as far as design and structure.

This is very important if you want your business website to work and please do not nickel and dime with your website just invest with a website that will work for your business. You can have a very cheap website and maybe even a free one but the question is if it’s going to work for your business.

If it’s not what’s the point of having a website right? It’s waste of time and money. So to save some headaches and money just do it right the first time and don’t be stingy with your business remember this is an investment it means it will come back to you with profits.

Based on my real-life experience with this website is when it’s done correctly meaning you implement your business brand (to convey your business), unique design (to stand out among your competition) then it will work.

And please don’t build a website that is NOT going to work you’re just wasting your effort, time and money. Always remember your business website should give you more customers and buyers period.

The Power of Invisible Selling


Today I woke up a little bit early I even told my wife to make sure I woke up at a certain time. So when I got up I went straight to the shower and got ready. Today was a big day for me; I had a meeting with the President and CEO of one of the major players in plumbing industry here in Las Vegas.

We spoke on the phone the other day and he invited me to do a little workshop for them on business blogging and social media he said he’s heard so much about it and would like to implement it on their business but he wanted to know more about it and I told him, “Yes Sir.”

So there I was getting ready, I wore nice clothes, casual nothing extravagant, and packed my Mac Book Pro and double checked everything to make sure I had everything that I needed. Before I hit the road I said a prayer and I asked my wife to pray for me as well; I even ask my Sister yesterday to pray for me too!

Now I’m driving over there everything is cool I am very confident I am NOT nervous or anything our meeting is 11 AM and I got there 10:30 AM went to the receptionist desk and the president was there to greet me and took me to the conference room.

Boy oh! Boy… I didn’t expect the whole staff to be there, in my mind I was like WOW! But I was very confident because I know everything in my head and we can talk about it all day long 😀

Folks keep in mind the whole purpose of this workshop is for them to understand more about business blogging and social media and if they’re convinced then they’ll hire me for a special project and do everything for them.

I mean setup their blog, structure it, branding, create social media presence, train their staff the whole nine yards. Now everything is ready this young IT dude just setup the laptop and projector and I began to tell them what a is blog and the whole time I was using my own site as a model 😀

I showed them how I used my blog to market my business online, I showed them how I use my blog to capture new leads and customers, to build my brand.

I also show them my actual traffic statistics and I pretty much explained everything in a manner that they will understand and just to make sure I would ask everyone from time to time if they have any questions or anything and they said everything is great…

I also showed them how social media works and what it can do for their business. I showed them keyword research pretty much the whole nine yards on exactly what I do on a daily basis with my own business.

You see the power of invisible selling is to NOT to sell at all but educate and really help them and listen to your potential customers. That’s exactly what I did! I wanted to help these folks out they’re great people and to make the story short I got done with everything and I can tell that everyone was pumped and lifted up!

I said, “Folks that’s all I have,” and when I was done everyone said WOW! And the President and CEO said, “Albert sign us up! Let’s do this thing were ready”… You see I did NOT even use some kind of sales tactics or anything I am there to help but at the end they’re asking for my service so it’s a done deal!  😀

It works all the time and has never failed, ever. So next time you have a meeting or similar situation implement what I call Invisible Selling it’s very powerful stuff! The way it works is simple do not pitch at all but rather help them out and listen to their needs and at the end they will give you their business.

A Perfect Model For A Lead Capture Page!

What good does it do if you’re NOT building your database of potential customers or NOT getting the information about you target audience? YOU and I know that in any business you need a customer base or buyers but before people buy from you need to establish some kind of relationship or build that connection right?

So how in the world are you going to communicate with your potential buyers or customers if you don’t have their information so you can send them updates about your product and service?

Especially on the internet medium it’s a fact that the majority of folks just don’t buy anything the first time they see it and it makes sense because I am the same way and many folks I know they’re the same it’s NOT they don’t have money.

But you simply don’t know the person that’s selling you the product that why it’s necessary to communicate with your target market consistently for you to have that solid relationship with them. Because in any business of any kind customers buy from the folks that they know, like and TRUST period.

So to execute this and solve your problem you need a lead capture page that will capture your customer’s basic information like Name and eMail so you can market to this crowd in the future or at a later time and build a relationship with.
