Folks I really like Lady Gaga, and I love her songs. But what I like about her most is she is a great marketer. She knows how to create a buzz.

I hear people say she’s weird, but I think she’s just a great innovator that’s why she has accomplished many things in such a short period of time and I really admire her I think she’s a genius.

In spite of fierce competition in the world of entertainment she manages to stand out of the crowd and eat all her competitors for lunch.

You know why she stands out among everyone else? It’s because she is unique and remarkable and this is what I mean when I say, create a business website, Lady Gaga style.

You need to create a unique and remarkable business website to have results like Lady Gaga. I’ve only mentioned this like a million times here on my website, so in this coming year you need to create a business website or have someone build it for you (like me 😀 ) that will stand out and be remarkable.

This means do not use free templates that everyone else is using. Be unique and remarkable; that is the key to have a successful business website.

WordPress Website for your Small Business

I always recommend WordPress to all of my customers that are looking to have a web presence for their business because of all the benefits that your business can get.

I can give you a thousand reasons to use WordPress for your business but I will share a few list below that I think is significant, especially if this is for your business website.

Search Engine Optimization: WordPress is seo, or search engine friendly, and this is great for businesses so you can get plenty of targeted customers from the search engines. And the more traffic you have on your site the more chance you have to close a sale.

Content Management System: WordPress is also a CMS, content management system, and it’s very easy to manage your content it’s just a matter of logging in to your admin panel and posting and updating your site.

Put on your title, your content then publish it, and that’s it. And the beauty of it is you don’t need any software or file transfer to do this. Heck you can even do this with your iphone or blackberry.

Total Control: I remember my Dad told me that if I want to be successful in business I should have full control of everything.

He said you have to be in the captain’s chair or else you’re not gonna make it. WordPress gives you all the control and you’re not at the mercy or being held hostage by a webmaster or technical support.

Automation and Features: This is my favorite. WordPress is supported by thousands of plugin that you can use to run your website.

It’s automated, like, for example, there’s a plugin for SEO, contact form, wysywig editor, polls and many more and majority of these plugins are free, there’s “No Strings Attached”

Security and Reliability: WordPress is always updating their software and you can get all these updates for free and this is very important so hackers or malware can’t hurt your business website.

The last thing you want is to be making great sales with your website and you wake up one morning and your website has been hijacked. That’s why security and reliability are very important.

This is the main reason I always recommend WordPress. Oh, did I mention that WordPress software is completely free and 99% of hosting companies support WordPress?

That’s why over the years WordPress has become really famous and many prominent people are using it, like Donald Trump, Larry King, Dr. Phil and many government sectors as well.

But the best reason I am very confident with WordPress is because I know the founder, Matt Mullenweg. I had lunch with him awhile back and he’s really a cool guy, nice and humble. I know I am in good hands.

Deals & Urgency = More Customers

When you combine these two together, deals and urgency, what you get is more customers, believe me it works, I’ve tried it myself.

You know me; I don’t give out something that I haven’t tested myself. Here in America after Thanksgiving there is a “Black Friday” sale with deals and urgency.

There are low prices on lots of items, but some deals are great. For instance, a big screen 46″ TV bundled with a DVD player, 5 DVD’s, and a digital camera for only $450.00! Now that’s a deal right?

On Black Friday many retailers open very early, often at 4 a.m., or earlier, and offer great deals and promotional sales to kick off the shopping season.

You can see it in the local news many people are camping outside the store as early as Wednesday and spending their Thanksgiving outside the store waiting till early morning Friday when the store opens for Black Friday.

But there are many folks that are wondering why people are doing this. What drives them to skip the Thanksgiving Holiday, camp outside the store and wait for a few days, in the freezing cold?

Many will simply tell you because of the low prices. Well, at some point in every store they always have sales. Almost every day, even if it’s not the holiday, you can just go to the clearance section and you’ll see all kind of sales.

What makes customers crazy and makes them camp outside and wait is the “deals and urgency.” On Black Friday there are some products that you can only get if you’re the first 100 customers. Sometimes they only have certain items on sale for a certain amount of time.

Let’s say it’s only available till 6:00 AM after that the price goes back to regular. So I am telling you, if you combine these two, Deals and Urgency, you will definitely get more customers. And like what I said, this thing works.

Just last week I used this strategy; I sent out an email saying all of my products and services are 50% off but ONLY till Wednesday, and it worked! A few new customers came in and closed the deal. I did this too on my birthday, if you remember and it worked too.

Now you know, so use it and apply it to your business and you’ll see the sales will start coming…
